This is an account by John Wilson MD who was working at The Royal Hospital Haslar, Gosport, Hampshire. He was Inspector of Naval Hospitals and Fleets. (Haslar was until very recently, a naval hospital staffed by Queen Alexandra Nurses)
It describes in detail; the treatments that were given to cholera patients. Dr Wilson says the book was published to further the understanding of the treatment of Cholera, which at that time was little understood.
