We live in a world of change and uncertainty - we always have. But presently it's as if a storm were raging around us, churning up feelings of anxiety and fear and making it difficult to respond resourcefully to our own needs and those of others. This unique audio book offers an uplifting listening experience, covering seven practical self-help tools drawn from a broad range of positive psychology, therapeutic, and spiritual models and approaches. Each tool is designed to help us discover the 'stillness in the storm' --our sense of peace and inner wholeness. The book includes background information about coping with fear and uncertainty, simple exercises, audio meditations and commentaries, emergency responses, and positive affirmations to help the listener put its powerful ideas into everyday practice. The expert authors bring their clinical and personal experiences together to offer the listener immediate access to ways of calming and restoring resilience in challenging times.
